Questionnaire logical test (AskiaDesign)

Use this tool (available in question mode and routing mode) to carry out a test interview in order to check your questionnaire's logical structure. The test will follow the data-entry mask as well as evaluate and execute existing routing instructions. You can view and test the variables' properties, activated links, rotations, as well as the action of any routing instructions. Any data you enter is not saved.

This method of testing does not display your survey's screens. To carry out a test while viewing them, you need to test the survey in screen mode.
Note: Neither importations nor routing instructions running ODBC queries will be executed by this test,nor will routing instructions inserted for quota management purposes.

To test your questionnaire:

  1. Click in the toolbar.
  2. Alternatively, in the file menu select test the questionnaire.
Note: In the AskiaDesign settings, you can set the interview seed to be used when you test the questionnaire (in the option first seed used when testing a survey).

Furthermore, if you wish to only test a specific segment of a questionnaire, right-click and select select visible questions. Then, using the button, move the variables you wish to test into the right-hand box, and click OK. If you want to remove a variable from the right-hand box, click it and then click .
