Use this layout style to present a multi-coded closed question as a ranking question. For example:
To do so, select all the variable’s cells, then from the layout menu, select styles and then ranking.
In a ranking question, instead of selecting response items, the respondent will have to rank the response items from 1 to x (x being the maximum number of response items specified in question mode). The response item cells will be divided in two, one cell containing the item’s caption, and the other, instead of containing a tick-box, will contain a numeric cell.
