Verifying a questionnaire's screens

Use this tool to update a questionnaire's screens. AskiaDesign will scan through the questionnaire's data-entry mask and the questionnaire’s existing screens, and compare their mutual consistency (i.e. it will check to ensure that every visible question is assigned a screen).

To do so, go to the screens tab, right-click and select verify. AskiaDesign will display a list of all the inconsistencies it encountered and the action it proposes to restore consistency. You can choose to ignore a suggested action by simply un-checking it. Finally, to update your screens, execute the recommended actions by clicking OK.

Note: in the case of loops' sub-variables' screens, which have already been changed using the question table layouts: the verify function will undo all previous layout work and regenerate the screens anew according to the selected library template.
Note: from version 5.4, you can set askiadesign to automatically verify your screens whenever you enter screen mode or save the questionnaire. This is achieved by changing the program setting automatic verification of screens.
