Evaluate screen groups (routing action)

 Use this action to create a routing instruction that will cause the screen groups to be evaluated. This is useful when you want to change the screen settings in any way during an interview. For example, you might use this routing action after you have asked if the respondent would like to use an HTML-only version of the interview

For example, suppose question A asks which target environment the respondent prefers.

Screen group A has the following script in its script parameter (screen group tab):

??1??has{1}

Meanwhile, screen group B has the following script parameter:

??1??has{2}

Then, according to the response given at question 1 (1 or 2), group A or group B will be shown. This will occur when the evaluate screen groups routing instruction is executed. If the routing instruction is omitted, the screen groups will be evaluated at the start of the interview, and thus the response given at question 1 will have no effect.
