To insert a resource on a screen:
Open screen mode.
There are two ways to add the resource to AskiaDesign. You can either drag and drop the file from Windows Explorer directly into askiadesign, where it appears in the resources tab (skip to step 5 below). Alternatively, you can insert the resource as follows.
In the resources menu (alternatively, right-click in the resources tab), select insert bitmap, insert sound file, insert animation, or insert miscellaneous file... as appropriate.
Select the file you want to insert and click open.
Open the screen where you want to display the resource.
Drag and drop the resource from the resources tab onto the screen. When asked if you want to create a control for the resource, answer yes. The element properties dialog appears.
Click the general tab, and ensure the caption box is empty.
Click OK. The resource is placed on the screen, and is made available in all interviewing modes (CATI CAPI and CAWI).
If you are displaying an image or animation, re-size and position the resource to achieve the desired appearance.
