A variable is created in AskiaDesign's question mode. There are three main types of variables: Chapters, Questions, and Loops.
A chapter is a passive variable, because it stores no specific data. Chapters contain other questions, and can be used to display messages during data collection.
questions and loops are active variables, because they store data. This data may either be the result of the responses given by the respondent, or it may have been specified by a routing.
In order to refer to a variable you must use the ?? ?? variable tag.
